Montessori de Oro's Athletic Programs seeks to enhance each student's confidence by simultaneously
challenging and supporting each individual.
On the fields and in our field house, students develop principles of teamwork and sportsmanship and learn
to extend themselves so they may achieve beyond their own expectations. These lessons are invaluable
preparation for the challenges of life.
The student activities office approves, schedules and coordinates all extra-curricular activities connected
with the school. All students at MDO are eligible to participate in any school activity and to try out for
any sports team.
All students are eligible to try out for MDO sports teams. The team coaches or moderators are responsible
for team selection as well as discipline, equipment, and general behavior of the team. Once chosen, team
members are expected to attend all practices and games scheduled. All athletes are representatives of
Montessori de Oro and are expected to act accordingly.
