MDO's Performing Arts Group maintains a comprehensive
after-school performing arts program, which includes music, theater ,
acting, dance, voice instruction, cultural arts and so much more. Being
part of the group provides innovative learning opportunities to students
and encourages expression of thought and stimulates the imagination.
Our mission is to educate, entertain, and enrich the lives of our students
and their families through performing arts. We inspire the belief that our
students deserve the very best; that process and product are one; and
that art and education can skillfully and sensitively conspire to share a
common soul.
At Montessori de Oro, the art integration and arts-based learning is
the best way to develop, whether it be in Dance or other aspects of the
Performing Arts. Our qualified practicing performance artists and
teachers offer unique and effective approach to instruction in the
Performing Arts. We work to develop the whole student, technically,
intellectually, and artistically.
While becoming a dancer may not be the goal of all students, all can
experience the poise, grace, elegance, increased strength, mental
alertness, and enormous feeling of self-confidence that comes from an
