A FILIPINO SOLDIER AND A GENTLEMAN
Brave and dignified, Antonio Trillanes IV was recently and officially declared as the top 11th senator in thee election year of 2007 in the Republic of the Philippines. Yet, as the whole country has been fully aware of, he is a PRISONER!
He was imprisoned by the law against mutinuos acts. Just three years wayback, he led a group of young soldiers to speak about their injustices. He called for sympathy and and understanding for his his men. He was fighting not for his own well-being but sacrificed his safety for his fellows. They were siezed by the government and were detained in a cell. It's now a dilemma, for the government offered amnesty to those soldiers who would turn their backs on the truth they were fighting for. Many conceded and yet Antonio Trillanes IV stood alone amidst the enemies, he remained to believe in his past statement and battled for the reality he had struggled for from the beginning. He had suffered unreasonable judgements, infamous for his being a mutiny leader, considered to be a dangerous rebel when he once fought the field and staked his life to death for the country he loves. He had his family far from his side and the worst ever known misfortune that might happen to any father is to loose the chance to see his child for the last time.
Just as this election is about to end, Antonio Trillanes IV showed the explicit example of endurance, hardwork, patience, principle, courage and that is the spirit of the FILIPINO BLOOD!
