Make a wish!
Christmas Spirit is in the air! MdO's three campuses have been decorated by the team behind the Performing Arts Group. This Christmas the decors are not the usual lights but the ones that can also be appreciated during day time. It's wonderful to see the decorations , since I know how much effort and overtime the group gave to make the decorations look beautiful!
The most special decoration though is the one Christmas tree that stands tall at the MdO Main. It is a simple Christmas tree that's been decorated by the elementary students. What makes it extra special is that it symbolizes every child's hope and yearning. In every cutout decor a child's wish is written. Some wish for a new cellphone, a gameboy, one wish to have superpowers, and there are wishes that struck my heart the most. One child wished for his family to be together , one wished for happiness and one wished for her parents not to fight anymore.
I realized after looking through almost every card that the students made ,that the Wishing Christmas Tree is the best I've ever seen, because it carries all the hope , wishes and dreams of each one ... and it is just priceless!
