Synergy for GMA

Our pride and Juicy's Regional Champions were busy during the summer . Rehearsals everyday on top of Summer classes plus shows that needed three production numbers were lined up . The girls of Synergy determined to show what their made of - levels up and goes overtime for another three hours!

GMA girls dances for the Kapuso Baranggayan at Macasandig . It was fun for the girls ! Thank you GMA for taking care of Synergy ;-)

Jaden Smith you are adorable!

Teambloggista, I watched Karate Kid last week and I had the best time ever! I had great company plus Jaden Smith is really adorable ! The story is about a boy who moves to China with his Mom . He struggles in his first few days but finds strength in character when he meets his friend and karate teacher ( Jackie Chan) .  The film does not stray from the original Karate Kid story but I must say Jaden Smith is such a good actor. Plus his killer move in the end is awesome!!! I was crushing on him while watching the movie!   The film is a must see and it captures your heart as you see Jaden go through the process .  I give it 3.5 buckets of popcorn !

Work hard and Play Hard!

Yes we work so hard to make sure we give you the best shows in MdO . We are young but we are exceptional - we have gained accolades in singing , dancing , and even excel in Academics. We are the Performing Arts Group - part of MdO's elite !

So for two moths on top of our Summer classes we have been rehearsing with our voice coaches, learning new choreography etc.  , pictorials for 2010 Back to School Campaign etc.

oh yes ! we had a busy Summer but we also know how to have fun !!!

We had a school blessing and so we helped grill some chicken , we had lechon , spaghetti, chicken macaroni , buko jello lychee salad etc.  Yum! The priests blessed all the rooms at the Main and in the Highschool Campus .  We also got a sprinkle from Father , so I think it'll be a very smooth sailing year for me :-)

I am grateful that PAG is training me to the best of my potential ! Highschool is definitely cooler at MDO ! We work hard and we play hard ! We know how to celebrate achievements !!! Soar High Falcons!

Checkout MdO 2010!

Yes I know everyone is super excited about MdO's 30th year celebration and General Assembly 2010! But before we get ahead of ourselves let's enjoy the beautiful high-school billboard at Carmen.  It is a fact that Montessori de Oro is one of the best in Cagayan de Oro. MdO Highschool's claim to fame is that it has been ranked as the number 1 Highschool in Region 10 and Northern Mindanao and is in the top 250 schools in the whole Philippines. Nothing but the best for MdO Falcons !

This year is our beloved MdO's 30th year of providing nothing but the best Education in CDO!  Check out our two billboards at Carmen :-) The pictures were taken by Lakshmi Owner and Photographer Jiva Jimenez. The models are Little Miss MdO Raphael Toring , Alyssa Maandig , Kelly Ranoja  with Gold Medalists Rainier Rotoras and Jason Ng .  In the photo the MdO kids are celebrating MdO's 30th year of Exceptional Education!  The Fireworks on the background are real fireworks it won a medal in a prestigious photo competition .  At 30 , MdO moves forward in Educating Minds, Encouraging Achievements , and Exceptional Education !

Movie Review : Prince of Persia

 
After our wonderful bonding dinner with our PAG friends , Thea and I decided to watch a movie at SM .  When we got to SM we bought our tickets for Jake Gyllenhaal's movie The Prince of Persia " The Sands of Time". Of course we got our snacks and were so excited to see how the video game turned out to be.  With a power cast of Oscar Nominated Actors I knew I was  going to have a wonderful time watching the movie!
The story is about about an adventurous Prince working together with a rival princess to reveal the true killer of his father and stop  his uncle from corrupting the mind of his brother the King . There's more to it but ,  I don't want to ruin your movie experience .  I must say the movie was well-edited and it was truly action packed . Every moment I was flinching because of all the effects and exciting parts in the movie.  I give the movie three and a half tumblers because I really had fun and Jake G. really looked hot in the movie !  Now Jake G. has joined the lists of my hollywood hunk favorites including Wolverine Hugh Jackman and of course my Edward  Robert Pattinson :-)
